At this year’s event, the 22nd GASTRO TUROPOLJA, on Thursday, October 12th the Round table is organized with the topic Plan for prevention and reduction of food waste generation, where the Ministry of Agriculture will present the Plan, the City of Zagreb will present the Voluntary Agreement as signatories, as well as the goals and activities that are planned, and VG Čistoća (city waste association ) will present Biodegradable waste and the situation in the City.
On Friday, October 13th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hall of the Visitor Center, the City of Zagreb representatives will present PLAVI CEKER – quality mark – from the Croatian field to the Zagreb table, whose exhibitors you can visit for the Gastro weekend and talk about their experiences with the certificate obtained – we will talk about Eco certification, the steps and instructions on how to register, WOLT will present us with a new distribution model – Innovative model of food delivery adapted to consumers, but also very friendly to local producers. Cities2030 created the event in collaboration with the 2nd Zagreb County Ecological Agriculture Festival (organized by the Zagreb County and the Association for the Development of Ecological Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Rural Space Z-EKO), prof. Ph.D. Albert Marinculić will speak about the harmfulness of pesticides and will present the ČEGEC Eco Farm with its eco wine – how it was created, what kind of production it is engaged in, what kind of catering services we offer, our vision and our wines and a wine tasting of a PIWI variety.
As part of the festival, which you can visit on October 14th and 15th in the area around the Turopolje Museum you will be able to buy ecologically certified products and taste various ecological products.
On Saturday, declared as children GASTRO, Velika Gorica LAB prepared workshops for children from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – “Incubator Motivator – Get to know a healthy food plate NutriPorcija” – drawing a healthy food plate and “We make fruit skewers” in collaboration with Secondary Vocational School and nutritionist from NESTLE.
